The Buy a Brick, Build a School Campaign includes a wallet sized donation card and A5 flyer. The material aimed to help raise enough money to build a new school building for the formerly known Faithmount School (now known as Kingston Jr Academy).
The project required skills in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, and an understanding of typography and layout, and was inspired by the independant, D.I.Y ethos of the school and the children who attend.
"Faithmount school is a school in Kilifi, Kenya, started by my uncle, Trevor Roberts. In 2015 Trevor was told he could no longer use the land currently leased for the school and so he needed to raise enough money to buy land and build a whole new school building... before the end of the year. Hence the need for the Buy a Brick, Build a School Campaign. Since then he has raised the funds and building is underway at the new site.
